3 Idiots Telugu Remake from Dec 6, 3 Rascals Mahesh Babu Movie

Mahesh Babu’s future movie which is going to be a remake of 3 Idiots is going for shoot from 3 December. This film is a bilingual and Mahesh Babu is doing the Telugu version. Jeeva (RB Chowdary’s son) and Arya (Nenu Devudni and Varudu fame) are being considered for the two important characters in the movie.

Harris Jayraj completed recording of two songs for the movie. Gemini Film Circuit produces this movie. Mahesh Babu is also doing Dhookudu movie in the direction of Seenu Vytla. This movie will be launched with a shoot in Turkey by the end of this month.

Vijay Next Movie Three Idiots Remake Titled as 3 Rascals

After the stupendous success of Enthiran, Director Shankar has moved on to his next project. The film is a remake of Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots titled has 3 Rascals. As per latest reportsIlayathalapathy Vijay will be playing the lead role in the movie, which was played by Aamir Khan in the original.

It’s now official that Director Shankar’s next film would be remake of 3 Idiots which will be titled has 3 Rascals. But the movie cast and crew hasn’t yet been officialy confirmed.

3 Rascals will be produced by leading producers Gemini Film Circuit, who incidentally has distributed the Hindi version Robot. At the much talked about premiere in Mumbai, Shankar was seen in conversation with the 3 Idiots team of director Raju Hirani, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Aamir Khan.

Shankar wanted Madhavan to play the role he had done in the original, but the actor has made it clear that he will not be a part of it. Now the buzz is that While Vijay will play Aamir’s character in Tamil, actors Jeeva and Siddharth are expected to be cast in the other two roles though nothing has been confirmed.

Ileana To Do Lead Role in 3 Idiots Remake

The latest news about Vijay 3 Idiots remake is that Actress Ileana has been signed for the Tamil and Telugu remake of ‘3 Idiots’. As per reports actress Ileana flew to Chennai to meet director Shankar and is now confirmed as the heroine of his 3 Idiots remake in Tamil and Telugu.

The buzz around Vijay Fans is that 3 Idiots will be titled in tamil has 3 Rascals. But as per sources the movie may not be titled as 3 Rascals since Rascals is not a tamil word and the movie wont get entertainment tax concession in tamil nadu if it’s titled in tamil. So we may soon expect a title change and official confirmation about movie and cast.

'3 Idiots’ first song composed

Harris Jayaraj is extremely busy these days. He is shuttling between Kollywood and Tollywood with a long list of films in his hands. But the music composer has nothing to complain about it. A few days ago, Harris gave director Shankar the first tune for the remake of ‘3 Idiots’. This is the second time for him to work with the filmmaker, with the first being ‘Anniyan’ in 2005. “The first tune has been given to Shankar for ‘3 Idiots’. The film will have Mahesh Babu in Telugu and Vijay in Tamil”, the music composer, who is fresh from his visit to composer Vivaldi’s house in Venice said. Meanwhile, two films of Harris Jayaraj (‘Engeyum Kadhal’ in Tamil and ‘Orange’ in Telugu) will have their audio releases on the same day- October 24. “Totally six tracks in ‘Orange’ and ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ will be launched with seven tracks”, he said.

The film will have Mahesh Babu in Telugu and Vijay in Tamil”, the music composer said. The music director is too busy with handful of projects both in Telugu and Tamil. Harris composed tunes for ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ a Tamil movie and ‘Orange’ in Telugu. Interesting thing is that both the movies will have their audio releases on the same day- October 24.

Mahesh Babu with Mani Rathnam

Mahesh Babu is going to act in the direction of Manirathnam. It is said that Vikram is also acting along with Mahesh Babu in the film. The movie is going to be produced by Sun Pictures with hugest budget. It is going to be made both in Telugu and Tamil.

It is known that Manirathnam recently made the movie ‘Raavan’ with Abhishek and Vikram and that went as a flop.

Now we have to see what wonder does Manirathnam do.

3 Idiots Heroes

We all know that Prince Mahesh Babu and Ileana are confirmed for the lead roles of the Hindi Block buster movie 3idiots, remake in Telugu. Gemini Film Circuit bought the Telugu and Tamil remake rights of ‘3 Idiots’ from Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Prominent director, Shankar will direct both the Tamil and Telugu versions.

The latest news is that shooting of this movie will begin on December 6th, music sittings of this movie have begun. 2 songs are already recorded for this movie. Harris Jayraj is composing the tunes for this flick. ’Varudu’ fame Arya and Super Good Movies Chowdary’s Son ’E’ fame Jeeva are under consideration for the roles of other two idiots in the movie.

Mahesh Babu, Samantha and entire crew of his upcoming film Dookudu were busy shooting in Istanbul. Unexpectedly, a suicide bomber shocked the entire nation, and wounded 32 people, just a few days prior to the shooting schedule. Some of the production managers asked Mahesh Babu’s if he wanted to postpone the shoot for the sake of safety, but he declined, saying that he was pretty confident of getting by safely with the pre-planned schedule, which is to go on till November 10. Also, word on the Tolly street is, Dookudu is not the only film on Mahesh Babu’s plate. Sun Pictures has been toying with the idea of making Amarar Kalki’s timeless classic Ponniyin Selvan, the 20th century Tamil historical novel into celluloid, and has even roped in Mani Ratnam to direct the movie. In fact, according to sources, after working on the novel meticulously, Mani has etched a neat script that encompasses all the five volumes of the novel in just 80 scenes. And guess who is to play the lead role in the Telugu version of the movie? That’s right, it’s Mahesh Babu!

Mahesh's BIL debuts as hero?

Prince Mahesh Babu's Brother in law Naga Sudhir is in plans to make his debut as an actor very soon. Tollywood grapevine is abuzz that Krishna family is serious about launching Naga Sudhir as hero as he possesses good looks and features to become future hero.

Naga Sudhir did a cameo role as Samantha's brother in Ye Maya Chesave. Mahesh's sister Manjula is planning to produce Sudhir's debut flick Named SMS. Tatineni Satya who made his debut with Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu will direct this film. Another hero from Ghattamaneni compound will definitely work as an energy booster to Krishna-Mahesh fans as they have only one hero in business, whereas there are at least three heroes from all the other major families.

3 Idiots

The Telugu remake of the Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots is set to roll from December 6th. The film to be produced under the banner of Gemini Film Circuit will be directed by Shankar. It will have Mahesh Babu in the lead role. Ileana will play the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu. This will be their second film together after the all time hit Pokiri. It is said that Arya and Jeeva are being considered to play other principal roles. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music of the film and two songs have already been recorded.

Prince superstar Mahesh Babu’s ‘3 idiots’ shooting could start in December 2010. This ‘3 idiots’ is a Telugu and Tamil remake movie, directed by Shankar and produced by Gemini Films Circuits in Telugu.

Mahesh Babu is playing the lead cast in Telugu 3 idiots remake while Aarya and RB Chowdary son Jeeva of ‘Nenu Devudini’ fame are playing the remaining leads.

Harris Jeyraj is composing music, and already 2 songs have been recorded. Abburi Ravi is penning the dialogues for Telugu version and the makers are scheduling things for 3 idiots remake shooting from December 6.

Khaleja

Mahesh Babu is back on the silver screen after a gap of nearly 3 years.Running after the goons and delivering the knock-out blows with his trademark glare, Mahesh Babu teams up with ace director Trivikram Srinivas (who gave him a career defining movie with Athadu in 2005) in Khaleja. The movie however disappoints and falls below the sky high expectations of all his fans who have been eagerly waiting for this movie.

Raju (Mahesh babu) is a taxi driver. Subhashini (Anushka) is the girl who brings him bad luck and causes damages to his car and his body every time he meets her. He lands in Rajasthan to get a part of the insurance amount of a guy who dies falling on his car. He again meets Subhashini (Anushka) in Rajasthan who is escaping from a guy trying to cheat her. A gang of goons try to murder Raju and take Subhashini back, but Raju thwarts their attempt. However Raju who is severely wounded falls unconscious after the fight.

When he wakes up, Raju finds himself in a village in Andhra Pradesh where all the people consider him to be the God. A confused Raju finds that the villagers are in the midst of a crisis with most of them succumbing to mysterious deaths. A group tries to shut down the medical camps made in the village but Raju stop this from happening.

Intrigued by all these, Raju investigates the matter further and discovers the truth behind it. He now takes up the responsibility of saving the village from the evil clutches of an industrialist GK (Prakash Raj). How he manages to do this leads to the climax of the movie.

The movie is all about Mahesh Babu and he occupies almost every frame in the movie. Back after a gap of 3 years, Mahesh looks great with stylish costumes but then his looks are far too urbane and stylish for the role of a taxi driver. There is an attempt to make Mahesh’s character talkative and verbose as opposed to his introvert characters he has played in his earlier movies like Athadu and Pokiri. He does an ok job but one still feels that the reserved and aloof kind of characters suit him the best.

The other actors i.e. Anushka, Prakash Raj, Shafi and Rao Ramesh do justice to their brief roles. Ali, Sunil and Brahmanandam are their usual selves in the comedy scenes. Music by Mani Sharma is average with the song ‘Om Nama Siva Rudraya’ standing out. Action scenes by Peter Hien and Ram- Lakshman are quite stylish. Cinematography by Yash Bhatt and Sunil Patel is top notch and the camera work in some of the scenes in is excellent.

The first half meanders pointlessly leaving the audience clueless about where the story is headed. The second half is better in terms of the story content but even that fails to engage the viewer for long. The movie deals with a serious theme but director Trivikram Srinivas mixes it with a lot of unnecessary situational comedy which dilutes the intensity of the movie. Most of the scenes in the movie are entertaining in terms of the humor but then they don’t build the story in any way.

Overall, director Trivikram Srinivas’ Khaleja fails to pack the punch. Keep your expectations low and watch it only if you are a Mahesh Babu fan.

Here is my review of one of the big release this Diwali, “Action Replayy.” Movie is directed by Vipul Shah and it’s the fourth collaboration of Vipul and the movie lead Akshay Kumar. Both had previous three successful outings. Read on to see what they have in store for the fourth one.

Kishan Kumar (Akshay Kumar) is an owner of one of the biggest restaurant of Mumbai. He is fed up of his personal life with his wife Mala (Aishwarya Rai). Kishan is as dumb man as you can get. Mala is as aggressive a woman as one would think. From the description of the two characters one would understand how complex their relationship would be. They have son Bunty (Aditya Roy) who is so fed up with his parent’s daily quarrels that he decides not to marry his girl friend.
